The best characteristic of Jeep Owners.

Over the years I have found one common characteristic that all Jeep Owners share. It is their willingness to help others! I am constantly amazed at how willing Jeep owners are to help others. Just in the past week the stories I have seen of people being stuck in the ice and snow and Jeepers coming to the rescue make me proud to be part of this group. I mean it’s awesome when guys like me get out and help pull stranded motorists out of ditches, BUT when a woman, that recently had spinal surgery sees two different families stranded on her way home during an ice storm and decides she needs to help them... That’s just incredible!

There are many other ways we help, like wrenching parties, where we help new Jeep owners put on new accessories, trail guides that help spot on rides and guide everybody through the obstacles. Little things, like being behind a Jeep in line at Starbucks, and they buy your coffee, all the waves from other Jeep owners that cheer you up when your having a tough day. All of these things are what the Jeep WAYALIFE is all about.

But one of the things I am most proud of, is this time of year, how we come together to help others that are less fortunate! This Saturday December 14th, is the rescheduled Toys For Tots run, 30 plus Jeeps will meet at Steve Landers Jeep in Little Rock at 9:00am with their families loaded up, and LOTS of toys, and go as a group over to Toy Hill and drop off all the toys for Central Arkansas Children that might not otherwise get anything Christmas morning! It’s going to be cold, but that won’t stop these guys and gals from getting out and doing something to help others!

There is always somebody willing to help you with whatever you need, it just makes me happy that this characteristic is so prevalent in Jeep Owners! We hope ANYBODY that wants to join us this Saturday will come out and be a part of this!
