WHAT ARE SOME OF THE AMENITIES AND COMFORTS CUSTOMERS WILL FIND WHEN THE WALK ONTO THE LOT?

A. Man, I’m glad you asked! We are very proud of our newly remodeled Parts Department at the Mayflower location and boy did it need it. Everything’s new from the walls to the floors. Since we have three full service facilities in the state, if we don’t have the part at one store we probably will have it at the other, and, you could have the part you need the same day.

I HEAR YOU HAVE A GREAT FINANCE DEPARTMENT THAT CAN WORK WITH CUSTOMERS TO HELP GET THEM INTO THE CARS/RVS THEY WANT. WHAT SHOULD CUSTOMERS KNOW ABOUT FINANCING? SHOULD BAD CREDIT SCORES KEEP THEM FROM STOPPING BY?

Air System Upgrades

PORTABLE AIR SYSTEM

Once you own a Jeep and start getting into the real experiences of owning a Jeep, such as trail riding and camping, you will soon discover, some sort of an OnBoard Air system is going to be on your to do list in the near future! Like we have talked about before, when taking your Jeep Offroad, it’s always best to take your tires from max pressure down to about 15 PSI. This gives you better traction on the trails, and helps to prevent sharp rocks and sticks from puncturing one of your expensive new tires. Well, if you’re somewhere like an Offroad Park, they probably have air lines available for you to refill your tires but, if you are just running some random unmarked trails you are out of luck! Basically there are two types of systems. OnBoard air systems that are hard mounted and wired into your vehicle and portable air systems that just plug up to your battery when needed and can be removed when not in use. OnBoard Air systems such as Viair and ARB are probably some of the best and most well known systems. They are both specifically designed for our sport and come with everything needed to mount and install this system yourself. Although it’s not always the easiest

thing to install, you will figure out with some help, you can do most of them in your driveway in just a couple of hours. Prices usually start around $300 and go up from there depending on how fancy a system you desire. Portable air systems start around $200 and usually come in some sort of carrying case, and have alligator clips that attach to your battery when you are ready to use them. Nothing really to install, you just have to remember to set it in your rig before you leave home. The biggest thing to look at when deciding on an air system, is what size tires will it inflate. Most of the ones you see in the off road magazines and websites make that information easy to find. However, if you start looking at bargain sites like amazon you could get a great deal on one, but it may only be powerful enough for a bicycle tire and NOT your 35” mud tire!
