Something to be Thankful for This time of year everywhere you turn, people are listing the things they are most thankful for. So I thought I would take this opportunity to fall in line and do the same. A year ago this month, I started a small facebook page and invited some people out to a random meet and greet. Little did I know it would impact my life in such an amazing way! As everyone knows one of the things I am most thankful for is my Jeep! But not for the reasons you might think. 1. I’m thankful for my friends. This Jeep community we have started, has brought together some of the strongest bonds of friendships I have ever experienced! These guys and gals I have met along the way are friends that at a drop of a hat would be there to help with ANYTHING I ever needed, and I would do the same for ANY of them. Being part of this club, and forging these relationships is definitely something I personally am thankful for. 2. I’m thankful for the knowledge I have gained. I have always tried to learn everything I could about working on Jeeps, and my goal was to share that with as many Jeepers as I could. But I quickly learned, there are others that know WAY more than me, and are always willing to not only share info, but roll up there sleeves and help do the job. 3. I’m thankful for the memories created with my family. Probably the thing I am MOST thankful for is the trips we take each month. Every month my son Hunter has gone with me on all the trail rides. All that time unplugged and alone together has given us a much needed activity to really strengthen the bond between us. He is rapidly becoming a man, and the changes I have seen in him over the past year, makes me proud of the kind of man he is going to be! Also, we have been camping 7 times this year as a family, and are already planning more trips next year. And ANY time spent unplugged out in nature with your family, will lead to memories you will talk about for the rest of your lives. So yes, I am thankful for my Jeep and all the opportunities having it has created for me this year! And I cant WAIT to see what happens in it next! I hope everyone has a great holiday week with their families! Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!
