DrKenyatta Cavil

Dr. Kenyatta Cavil is currently an Assistant Professor and the Coordinator of the Sport Studies & Leadership Program in the Department of Health and Kinesiology at Texas Southern University, lecturing courses in test and measures statistics, sport marketing & promotions, sport management & entertainment and organization leadership. Born in Norman, OK and reared in Waco, TX, Dr. Jafus Kenyatta Cavil is a 1994 graduate of Prairie View A & M University’s Roy G. Perry College of Engineering with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In 2004, he received a Master’s in Education Mathematics with an emphasis in Applied Mathematics in Scientific Computation from the Whitlowe R. Green College of Education at Prairie View A & M University. Dr. Cavil continued his education at Texas Southern University’s Jesse H.
