We spend so much time sitting at work, sitting for meals, and then sitting watching computer or television that we are not giving our bodies the real exercise that we need to maintain healthy, long lives. The real truth is sitting is killing you slowly. Studies around the world have shown that leading more active lives can actually help you to live a longer life. Prolonged sitting can cause complications like heart disease and ultimately decrease your life. While sitting is killing you, the risk is even greater if you are inactive altogether.
