Kidney Cancer What is Kidney Cancer? We Know that the Kidney removes waste products and control blood pressure, among other things. Kidney cancer involves the abnormal growth of cells, which build up to a mass (tumor). Older age, obesity, smoking, and high blood pressure increase the risk of developing kidney cancer.
