Dr. Conti currently resides in Los Angeles, California where he is a board-certified internal medicine physician at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. As a physician educator, he works with medical students and residents as a Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine in Los Angeles, California. Nico Conti Current Role and Duties Dr. Conti practices medicine with the UCLA Hospitalist Downtown Cohort at Martin Luther King Hospital, California Hospital Medical Center, Olive View Hospital and Barlow Respiratory Hospital. Dr. Conti completed his residency and internship in internal medicine at University Hospitals, Case Western Reserve University and Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio and obtained his California medical license in that same year. While at Case Western University, Dr. Conti wrote cases that the school uses to educate medical students. Research Dr. Conti completed numerous research projects focusing on infectious disease, mechanisms of infection and therapeutics during his undergraduate and medical school studies and his residency. As a resident, Dr. Conti researched clinical isolate samples from patients who had resistant bacterial infections to discover more about their mechanisms of resistance to common antibiotics.
Education Dr. Conti earned his undergraduate degree at The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and his medical degree (M.D / Doctor of Medicine) from Central Michigan University College of Medicine. Dr. Conti was part of the college's inaugural class.
