The Fitzroy Crossing Bull sale will be held at the Fitzroy Crossing Rodeo Grounds and att racts pastoralists from across WA every year. In what is considered Western Australia’s richest bull sale, Droughtmasters have now achieved the top price at the Kimberley sale for the past seven years. In 2020 Lindsay and Lyn Philp, from Sevenell & Lynsey Park Stud in southern Queensland received the top honours for Lynsey Park Joywood 116/18 at $11,500. Sevenell have been long-time supporters of the sale, as have other Droughtmaster vendors Munda Reds, SC Droughtmasters and Valera Vale.
21 High Country Droughtmaster Bull and Female Sale, Eskdale We welcome you to our 8th Annual High Country Droughtmaster Bull and Female Sale. Our breeding objectives remain as strong as ever, centred around fertility, growth and performance. The last year has seen us grow with the expansion to over 450 commercial Droughtmaster breeders to be used in crossbreeding programs and commercial replacement breeder production, as well as our current core herd of 250 stud breeders. This is allowing us to create more performance data on our genetics and ensure we keep very focused on commercial beef production traits. 2021 has seen us introduce strong genetics from Glenlands D Droughtmasters as well as the top priced bull, Rondel Whiskey purchased in partnership with High Country, Nindethana and Glenlands D for the recordbreaking price of $160,000. The sale this year has 48 bulls by 17 sires and 30 females by 8 sires with the genetics of 19 diff erent sires featured in the catalogue. 4 Bunya Bull Sale, Coolabunia

The 8th Annual Bunya Bull Sale will be held on Saturday 4th September at the Coolabunia Selling Complex, Kingaroy. 85 Bulls have been catalogued from 26 vendors with the sale kicking off at 11am. Bulls are available for inspection from 3pm Friday 3rd September at the Selling Complex. All bulls will be vaccinated with a minimum of 5 or 7 in 1, 3 Germ Blood and 3 day sickness. They will be weighed, mouthed and scanned and carry a minimum semen motility of 60%. Bulls will be pre-treated for ticks and pre-scratched allowing immediate delivery to clean country following the sale as there is a clearing dip onsite. The Sale Vendors will again off er “Free Freight” on all bulls purchased, to 5 major Southern Queensland Centres, including Gympie Saleyards, Biggenden Saleyards, Eidsvold Saleyards, Dalby Saleyards and Toogoolawah Showgrounds. As in previous years a large number of vendors have undertaken DNA testing on their bulls including Parent Verifi cation, Horn/Poll, Pompes and Pestivirus. Fresh off their success from Beef Australia 2021 the McCormack Family will offer 75 Bulls at their annual Spring Bull Sale to be held on property Dilga, Glenmorgan on Wednesday 22nd September 2021. The 60 Droughtmaster Bulls are headlined by an outstanding line of Garthowen Webke 2 sons , and Clonlara 16173 also has a great run of sons on offer. New season sires Clonlara 17253 and Clonlara 17299 and Needmor Emmett are exciting additions, while Garthowen Xavier 2 and Hamadra Energiser also have a handy run of bulls in the sale. The 15 Clonlara Composite bulls are again an outstanding line of beef bulls with power, punch and exceptional fertility. The 35th annual Cap Droughtmaster Sale will be held at CQLX, Gracemere on Thursday 23rd September. The Sale offers purchasers the chance to secure a “Glenavon’ or ‘CMC’ Droughtmaster Bull with confidence in the knowledge that all sale bulls have been selected and examined to a high standard. The draft of 80 bulls are paddock reared and are handled in large groups with horses, dogs and motorbikes and as such do not have a lot of one on one handling but must display a naturally docile nature. 18 CQ Invitational Droughtmaster Sale, Gracemere This year’s 2nd annual CQ Invitational Droughtmaster Sale will see around 100 Bulls catalogued with foundation members and long-established studs among the Vendors. Buyers can be assured of a top-quality off ering of Bulls as for a lot of the vendors, this will be the only sale that they will be off ering bulls at in 2021. A lot of the bulls on off er will be coming from generations of proven cow lines who have consistently produced quality catt le that breed on, whilst some of the sire lines represented come from well-respected studs who have invested heavily in their genetics.
