What Is Otoplasty? An Otoplasty, also known as ear reshaping or ear pinning, is a cosmetic procedure that improves the appearance of abnormally large, protruding or uneven ears, which can occur naturally or as a result of the injury. During an otoplasty, the ears are reshaped to be more symmetrical, reduced in size or pinned back to lie closer to the head.
