In Day 1 of the 5 Day MS Strength Challenge | break down what exactly neuroplasticity is & how it can help those with MS actually get stronger, improve their balance, and more!

Our brains utilize neuroplasticity to find NEW neural pathways or strengthen existing pathways that allow you to do things such as bending your knee, or lifting your leg which are both key components of walking & many other daily functions!

In Day 2 of the 5 Day MS Strength Challenge I review what functional exercise is, and how it is different from regular exercise or PT!

Time and time again I have had clients come to me and say, "I've been to physical therapy before, I've done exercises in the gym. The PT didn't listen to me about my symptoms, and I didn't get any better."

But, what that tells me is that you were not doing functional exercises! And that can lead to feeling discouraged. The good news is with a few tweaks improvement IS possible!

In Day 4 of the 5 Day MS Strength Challenge we discuss the importance of consistency & motivation! We all know that these are 2 pilars of seeing improvements when it comes to exercising, but they can also be very challenging to have over a longer period of time.

Not only do I share 1 of the many strategies I teach on how you can stay consistent and have motivation, but there is exciting research that has come out with exactly how many days per week we should be exercising to see results! The answer will shock you, and hopefully provide relief.

In Day 5 of the 5 Day MS Strength Challenge I review 2 things that can help you implement everything that you have learned into your day to day routine!

My first tip is on what to do if you fall off track with your exercises. We are all human, and this can happen. However, there IS a way that you can get back into your exercise routine!

My second tip is finding some level of accountability and support! We are all more likely to stick to something new & challenging when we have others coming right along with us on the journey! 5
