Regular preventive waterjet maintenance is key to keeping drain lines flowing freely. Restaurants and other commercial establishments typically require frequent high-pressure water jetting to remove mineral deposits, grease buildup, sludge and debris that accumulate in the lines. Some businesses may require just one or two cleanings annually, while others benefit from monthly or quarterly cleanings.

BBackflow Testing, Repairs and Installation
• Most businesses are required by law to have backflow meters tested and certified every year. • Failure to comply can result in interruption of business and substantial fines. • Our backflow specialists can install, repair and certify your backflow meters. • We will contact you to remind you when your annual inspections are due. It’s one less thing for you to remember.
Backflow prevention devices do exactly what the name implies. They prevent water, sewage or contaminated substances from flowing backwards in the pipes and into fresh water supplies and causing a serious health risk. Such contamination usually occurs at cross connections in the plumbing system. A cross connection is any plumbing connection between pipes that carry drinking water and pipes that carry non-potable water. Good examples include steam pipes, boilers and irrigation systems. The backflow of sewage, gray water or other contaminated substances into fresh water supply pipes can cause a serious health risk.

Remove old toilets and replace them with newer models that use only 1.6 gallons of water per flush. Toilets made before 1994 used anywhere from three-and-a-half to seven gallons per flush. That’s as much as twenty gallons per person per day. You’ll also save on the wastewater portion of your bill because a lot less goes down the drain. You may have heard that 1.6-gallon toilets aren’t as good as the old models. The earliest models had some drawbacks but manufacturers have made great strides in recent years and newer toilets are efficient and powerful. Depending on your local water rates, a low-flow toilet can pay for itself in as little as two years. Faucets take lots of abuse, whether in the sink, shower or on the side of a building. Faucets have moving parts that will eventually wear out or require adjustment. The most obvious sign of trouble is a dripping faucet, which can waste up to twenty gallons of water each day. If the faucet leaks hot water then you’re also wasting the energy required to heat the water that is flowing down the drain. Leaky faucets are easily repaired. Modern faucets use a cartridge system that can be quickly and easily replaced with only a screwdriver. Older faucets use washers or O-rings to provide a tight seal.
