ES CAP E R OOM: DAS H ER EDIT ION Escape Rooms are a type of physical adventure game in which a group of people are locked in a room and have to solve a series of puzzles, find clues, and escape the room within a set time limit. Let’s try it at DSHA! We’ll devise a challenge that will get you to use your detective skills and work as a team to solve the mystery! July 13-17 | 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. | $50
FABR IC FUN Tie dye, puffy paint, and fabric markers, oh my! Each day, you’ll design and decorate a piece of clothing including socks, hats, and more. Everyone loves getting mail! Getting a homemade card is even more special! Let’s create cards for every occasion including birthday greetings, Christmas cards, thank you notes, get well wishes, and more. We’ll take a “field trip” to the Art Gallery here at DSHA and talk to our artist in residence Sr. Karlyn Cauley, SDS., who makes beautiful greeting cards for a living! Get a jump start on fractions. Parts of a Whole takes a unique approach to working with fractions. Campers work in a problem-solving format, while learning a little history, trivia, and fun facts about items such as crayons, paper clips, and toothpaste. Create and act out your very own play. We will learn the skills that go into developing and creating a play, as well as practice acting skills and teamwork. This yoga series will enhance your unique bond through the sharing of fun, accessible, friendly, partnerpose yoga and active relaxation, followed by open conversation and artistic journaling. Classes will weave in prevalent social issues such as building healthy self-esteem, positive- self talk, and reducing stress. Empowered with information and support, our daughters will feel confident to make healthy decisions as teen years approach and independence beckons. And mothers will feel grateful as they cultivate a safe space for their growing daughter to stay connected and open hearted. Our Catholic faith is full of role models to helps us learn and live in God’s beautiful world—they’re called saints. Community Theatre Works (CTW) is an intensive, four-week rehearsal process combining the talents of DSHA students and alumnae, middle school students, and community members. Students in grades 5-12 will work in tandem with local theatrical talent in a caring theatre environment that involves mentoring, teaching, learning, and growing to produce a summer musical. All aspects of the production will be involved –– from initial auditions and rehearsals to full performances before eager audiences. Campers will even have some limited exposure to the behind-thescenes set-building and stage crew process. Students grades 5-12 must register before auditions. Meet the Summer Cool Staff
Our Summer Cool staff is comprised of DSHA coaches, staff, current students, and alumnae, each dedicated to sharing their expertise and love for DSHA with a community of future Dashers. The camp faculty will be led by Summer Cool Administrator and Dean of Students Ruby Brock, DSHA ’92, assisted by Summer Cool Coordinator Tess Zukowski, DSHA ’13. All staff members are professional educators or college students focusing on education and communications. They look forward to working together to bring the most positive and exciting experience to our campers.

Payment is due in full at the time of registration. All camps are located at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School unless otherwise noted; this includes a few athletic camps designated as “offsite�. DSHA is conveniently situated near Wauwatosa and Brookfield, in the Mayfair neighborhood at 4257 N. 100th Street, Milwaukee.
CANCELLATION/ WITHDRAWAL POLICY
DSHA reserves the right to cancel any camp for any reason, and full refunds will be made for camps cancelled by DSHA. Prior to May 15th, withdrawals are eligible for a refund of the camp fee, minus a $10 withdrawal fee. After May 15th, no refunds for camp withdrawals will be made without a medical excuse. Camp registrations are non-transferable.
ATTENDANCE
Daily attendance is encouraged and expected for the continuity of camps. Campers should be dropped off and picked up for their camps within 15 minutes of the start and end times of their camp. To ensure the safety and supervision of all campers, students must be in a registered camp session if they wish to remain on campus during Summer Cool hours.
