THE NEW TIGER 800 RANGE Whatever the road, whatever the distance, whatever the challenge, the new Tiger 800 range has been built to excel. Featuring a host of rider-focussed technology such as the standard fi tment of Triumph Traction Control (TTC) and switchable ABS, the new Tiger with its powerful and more fuel efficient 95PS triple engine is up for any task. Delivering a seamless flow of torque across the rev range, the Tiger 800 is as perfectly suited to longdistance rides as it is to tackling the tough stuff. The second generation 800cc engine now features a ride-by-wire throttle system which provides smoother power delivery, better response and lower emissions. The result is a 17% improvement in fuel efficiency that, coupled with the capacious 19l fuel tank, means you can ride longer. Available in two different flavours, the touring-oriented XR range and the off-road biased XC range, there is a Tiger 800 to suit everyone. We have also introduced new equipment levels with both the XR X and XC X variants. ELECTRONIC RIDING MODES
Every new Tiger 800 features first-in-class standard fitment of Triumph Traction Control (TTC) that prevents the unexpected spinning of the rear wheel and cuts the engine torque to avoid the loss of lateral grip. The XCX and XRX feature advanced Traction Control with three settings:
Switch from road to off-road to rider programmable modes on the fly – and overcome the weather, the road and whatever nature can throw at you.
1. ROAD: optimised for road use, allowing minimal rear wheel slip 2. OFF ROAD: allows increased rear wheel slip (XCX , XRX only) 3. OFF: disables the traction control setting SWITCHABLE ABS All the new Tiger 800s feature switchable ABS as standard. In addition, the XRX and XCX offer three ABS settings to suit different riding styles and road conditions:
The XRX and XCX offer three different Riding Modes that allow the adjustment of the throttle maps, ABS and TTC to suit different road conditions. Select either ROAD or OFF-ROAD mode and the throttle maps, ABS, and Triumph Traction Control are automatically set. RIDER MODE allows you to configure these settings independently to suit your own personal riding style. In RIDER MODE, the throttle maps can be switched between RAIN, ROAD, SPORT, and OFF-ROAD settings. CRUISE CONTROL XRX and XCX models feature Cruise Control as standard, making long journeys more comfortable and helping fuel efficiency.

The LCD screen displays time, ambient temperature, fuel gauge, gear indicator, odometer, and journey distance. The XRX and XCX models add more functionality with extended information including: journey time, average speed, average fuel consumption, range to empty and instantaneous fuel consumption.
3. OFF: disables the ABS system
TIGER 800 XC Sometimes, the road isn’t enough. Sometimes, the ride leads you to places beyond the reach of most vehicles. But cross country or cross continent, you don’t need tarmac when you ride a Tiger 800 XC. With premium WP adjustable suspension and a torque-laden 95PS 800cc triple engine, there are few obstacles capable of standing in its way. Triumph Traction Control and a responsive ride-by-wire throttle set a new standard in off-road adventure, while an improved riding position lets you make the most of the trademark Triumph handling. Add spoked wheels, 21" at the front, for improved off-road performance and a high-level front mudguard and you have everything you need for thrilling off-road riding.

TIGER 800 XCX The spirit of adventure isn’t just alive. It’s built into every single component of the new XC X. Fully equipped for long adventures with technology that adds improved handling and opens up whole new horizons, this is the Tiger taken to a different level. Selecting between three different Riding Modes, ROAD, OFF-ROAD and programmable RIDER MODE, you can configure your preferred throttle map, ABS and Triumph Traction Control for a completely tailored and thrilling adventure ride. The dedicated Trip Computer and the Cruise Control enable you to amass miles with complete confidence. The off-road soul of the bike is emphasised by the Adventure Pack including hand guards, aluminium sump guard, centre stand, additional power socket and engine protection bars.

TIGER 800 XR The adventure. It’s about more than the route you take. It’s about the stories you bring back. On the XR, you’ll bring back plenty. With cast wheels, 19" front wheel, hydraulically adjustable Showa monoshock suspension and a torque-laden 95PS 800cc triple engine, the XR is ideally suited both for long road adventures and everyday functionality. Rider technology comes as standard with ride-by-wire throttle for improved response and feel, Triumph Traction Control (TTC) and switchable ABS. Together with a chassis designed to exploit every ounce of torque from the triple engine to the adjustable seat height for excellent comfort: you have the perfect machine to tackle the day ahead. The addition of exible Riding Modes allows you to tailor your Tiger to perfectly suit your riding style.
