CLUB UPDATE

Jumeirah Golf Estates

Dear Valued Members,

The great weather has arrived, the golf courses are beautiful, and the Club is buzzing. I very much hope that you are finding the time to make the most of this wonderful time of year at Jumeirah Golf Estates.

November is going to be an exciting month at the Club with the upcoming DP World Tour Championship from 17th-20th, followed immediately by the FIFA World Cup. You should now have received your complimentary Clubhouse Passes by email from Ticketmaster, so that you can attend all four days of the tournament in style.

Clubhouse Hospitality

We also have a wonderful Clubhouse Hospitality option which includes breakfast, lunch, and afternoon canapes, a drinks package from 12.30pm - 6.00pm, plus access to a private viewing platform on the Clubhouse Terrace overlooking the 18th green. Early Bird rates are available until 11th November, with prices starting from AED 995.

Captain’s Day

(Sunday 11th December)

We are delighted to have now launched the inaugural Jumeirah Golf Estates Captain’s Golf Day which will take place on Sunday 11th December. Our Club Captains Steve Drake and Sheila McIlroy have done an outstanding job in their roles this year and have been working hard to create a day to remember for our members.

Participants will enjoy a Pairs Scramble with a twist, playing 9 holes on each of the Earth and Fire courses whilst enjoying wonderful food & beverage offerings throughout the day. Please sign-up now on Viya as this is certainly not one to miss!

Padel Tennis

With the cooler weather now here, I highly recommend you try out this wonderful sport. Members can play for only AED 50, and we have two expert coaches Nacho and Charlie, available to help you get started or take you to the next level.

The Lounge Spa

I would like to thank the amazing team at The Lounge Spa for their ongoing support of so many of the golf events at the Club. Our lucky winners have been enjoying some of the luxurious offerings, including a host of special massages, ladies’ hair and beauty treatments, and gent’s grooming. I am happy to inform you that the spa will remain fully operational throughout the week of the DP World Tour Championship. Members’ Lounge in Crafty Fox

Jumeirah Golf Estates is a vibrant family community with five restaurants where children are welcome. The new Members’ Lounge located in the back section of Crafty Fox Gastropub & Sports Bar is now for adult members only with up to a maximum of three guests. Children are still most welcome in the main section of the restaurant and the large terrace, along with the other four restaurants and their outdoor areas. We hope that you will enjoy having this small adult only area as an option for you to enjoy from time to time.

Welcome Finlay!

We are delighted to introduce our new Membership Executive, Finlay Galloway. Please make sure to say hello to Finlay over the coming weeks when you see him around the Club. Finlay has come to us from Leven in Scotland only 20 minutes away from the Home of Golf, St. Andrews. Currently completing his PGA Training he will be a fabulous addition to the team supporting the membership services team.
