This is me presentation

1.

a) My name is Chaeeun and I recently turned to 17 years old. I was born in Korea and lived there until I was in sixth grade. It has been a year since I moved to Singapore and before I came here, I lived in Myanmar for three years.

b) Throughout my entire lifetime, I had many ups and downs but nothing seems to have major effects on my life like the experience in my first camp that changed my ways of thinking and hobbies as well. Until the age of nine I was always afraid of meeting new people, and experiencing new things. My mother, one day, suggested me to join the camp, which I, at first refused to participate. However, when I arrived at the campsite and made friends, I started to love everything I did in the camp. I never liked to hike and I was not a person who would not grab the pig with hands but new, challenging experiences I had in the camp changed me to the person who is not afraid of encountering new circumstances. Also now I love to climb mountains and whenever I go back to my home country or travel to another country that has mountains, I enjoy climbing more than anyone.

c) Every year at least once people ask me whom I admire the most; my answer always has been my mother. I admire my mom because she understands and believes me more than anyone in the world. She also is strong, confident; she does not fear any obstacles confronting her and voices her no matter other think.

d) Most of times I am even tempered and patient but it irritates me when I try to say something to other people and forget what I was going to say. Whenever I forget the line, it feels like things that I was going to say was really important and feels like all of my brain cells are dead.

2.

a) I think IB Diploma program will be challenging but it will be something that is worthy. Even though I have a rough thought about the ambition and goal of my life, I have not yet decided specifically on my future dreams. I believe this is because I have not yet found who I really am. I think, throughout, IB courses, I will not only be able to improve my skills in terms of knowledge and education but also be given opportunity to develop my personalities.

b) I am pretty sure there won’t be as much free time as last year and because of less free I have there will be less web surfing and socializing with my friends. I will have to be more organized as more and more assessments and works will be given in each class.

Ending: Like I have mentioned in the questions above, my major goal is to find who I really am and establish the future goal that will guide me throughout next two years.

Moreover, I hope to join ECA and CAS programs that suit me well and help me to find the jobs or goals and build up varieties of skills and knowledge for the future.
