Fully controlled power and torque The 937 cc Testastretta 11° engine is lighter and updated in terms of the gearing and clutch to ensure even smoother and more precise operation, with maximum power of 113 HP at 9000 rpm and maximum torque of 94 Nm at 6750 rpm (Euro 5 version). One strength of this engine is its ability to reconcile theoretically opposing traits. So, while it boasts an excellent level of reliability, it also ensures the same performance and character that distinguish every Ducati engine. All while offering smooth, easy to manage delivery. The rider enjoys a prompt response and all the power they need, whatever the riding conditions.
The new gearbox also makes for improved drive dogs and better shifting sensation, while facilitating the engagement of neutral. Updated electronic management guarantees a more precise Ducati Quick Shift (DQS), which comes as standard on the S version, the operating strategy now optimised when shifting both up and down.
