Cohort 23 Jeff Boden Gateway Terminals, LLC Director of Operations Jeff Boden is the Director of Operations for Gateway Terminals, LLC. in Savannah, Georgia. Gateway Terminals is responsible for the stevedoring and terminal operating services for the Georgia Ports Authority. After studying Marine Transportation and Logistics Management at the United States Merchant Marine Academy, Jeff worked in Marine Terminals on the West Coast, where he became an expert in designing a safe, efficient, and effective operation for all stakeholders. Jeff moved to Savannah in 2013, where he led stevedoring operations for Ports America until 2022. At Gateway Terminals, Jeff combines his leadership and operations background - which includes terminal operations and labor management in Los Angeles at WBCT - to help the Georgia Ports Authority continue to move cargo through the largest terminal in North America. He works with stakeholders ranging from Vessel Operators to ILA members to continue to drive excellence in the Port of Savannah. He is responsible for over 3 million container lifts annually and manages an operating budget in excess of $400 Million. When Jeff isn't at the terminal, he finds joy in spending time with his wife and family traveling, coaching his son's baseball team, and watching his daughter cheer and sing.


Cohort 23 James Bonner New York & Atlantic Railway/Anacostia President James P. Bonner holds the position of President at the New York & Atlantic Railway Company, which provides rail freight services in the New York City Metropolitan area. The company is a subsidiary of Anacostia Rail Holdings Company, a Chicago-based transportation development and consulting firm that manages the operations of several short line railroads throughout the United States. James has dedicated more than 26 years to the railroad industry, having worked in roles ranging from track laborer to railroad president. He has held engineering, dispatching, customer support, marketing, and operations positions at numerous railroads across the United States. James is an ardent advocate for the benefits of the railroad industry, particularly the opportunities it provides for career development and employee growth. He is dedicated to promoting safety, fostering company growth, and raising awareness about the advantages of rail freight. In addition to his duties at the New York & Atlantic Railway, Mr. Bonner proudly serves his local community and the transportation industry through board positions with Island Harvest, Vision Long Island, and the Traffic Club of New York. James graduated with a degree in Business / Computer Science from Northwest Kansas Technical College.


Cohort 23 Adam Dudar Air Canada (Cargo) Director, Cargo Revenue Management and Network Strategy Adam Dudar holds the role of Director, Cargo Revenue Management and Network Strategy at Air Canada Cargo, a subsidiary of Air Canada since April 2021. ACC is one of the leading cargo air transport service providers in North America with a fleet of 7767-300 Freighters, growing to 10, as well as acquiring 2 777 freighters by 2025. Based in Montreal, Adam is responsible for revenue management, partner carrier/postal relationships, distribution, pricing, revenue forecasting and budgeting, charter sales and network planning/scheduling. Adam has nearly 25 years with Air Canada, starting as a warehouseman, holding progressively more senior positions within the commercial organization within both Cargo and Passenger operations. Honing his skills in leadership, commercial strategy, project management and business planning while navigating through the industry’s most turbulent times of 9/11, SARS and Covid. Adam holds a Bachelor in Commerce from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University). He, with his family, are ardent travelers and has a deep curiosity and passion for the logistics environment.


Cohort 23 Demond Grove Werner Enterprise Regional Logistics Manager Demond Grove began his Transportation career with Consolidated Freightways as an Inside Sales Manager, where he was responsible for the expedited shipments for the Midwest Region. Since then, has had various leadership roles responsible for managing Sales Teams and Carrier Operations at C.H. Robinson, and Best Logistics. He joined Werner Enterprise in March 2017 and is currently, Regional Logistics Manager in the Brokerage Division for the Midwest Region. He also is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.


Cohort 23 Nick Hass TTX Company Business Intelligence and Systems Manager Nick Haas is currently a Business Intelligence and Systems Manager in the Car Repair Billing Department of TTX Company, which is jointly owned by America’s Class I Railroads. TTX operates a fleet of approximately 170,000 railcars. Here he is responsible for advanced railcar repair billing analytics and reporting, supporting not only TTX, but some of their Class 1 railroad clients as well. Nick has held various roles within the rail industry, and began his railroad career in 2013 with an internship at the Norfolk Southern Atlanta office. He went on to spend 3 years in Atlanta with NS in various roles within their Accounting, Accounting Systems, and Transportation departments. Nick then joined TTX Company in Chicago, where he spent 2.5 years in their Internal Audit Department. In 2018, Nick went on to join Canadian National, where he worked as a Business Analyst for the Engineering and Track Department at their Homewood, IL office. He then rejoined TTX Company in 2021, where he has spent the last 2.5 years in his current role. Nick has a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University with Majors in Accounting and Supply Chain Analytics, and concentrations in Analytical Consulting and Information Systems. He currently resides in Chicago, IL.


Cohort 23 Mark Kelndorfer Trimac Transportation Services Director of Sales, NW Mark Kelndorfer is currently the Director of Sales for Trimac Transportation Services’ (Trimac) Northwest sales team. Trimac is a prominent North American bulk transportation provider generating over a billion dollars in revenue. In this capacity, Mark holds responsibility for heading the NW sales team and overseeing nearly a quarter of a billion dollars in annual revenue within Trimac’s Northwest region. His role involves strategic support for some of the company’s key clients. With a career spanning back to 2013, Mark has amassed extensive experience within the transportation and supply chain sector. He embarked on his professional journey at ATCO Power’s fly ash marketing division, where he honed his skills in sales and logistics. Over the past five years, Mark has been an integral part of Trimac’s sales team, progressively shouldering greater responsibilities within the organization. Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary, specializing in marketing and operations management. He and his wife, Erica call Calgary, AB their home. They eagerly anticipate the upcoming addition to their family, expected to arrive in November!


Cohort 23 Kelsey Lindsey UPS Global Customer Experience Strategy Senior Manager Kelsey began her UPS career in 2010 as a Package Handler at UPS as part of the Metro College Program in Louisville, KY and later returned in 2017 as a Field Marketing Specialist in the Ohio Valley District. Kelsey was promoted to Marketing Field Channel Analyst and later rotated as a Senior Pricing Analyst. In 2019, Kelsey moved to Chicago to join the Corporate CX team as an analyst where the initial CX pilot began. Kelsey was promoted to Manager in 2021 and has played an integral role in the development and adoption of CX and the Net Promoter System which has now been deployed to Operations, Sales, Digital and GBS. Kelsey currently lives in Atlanta, GA managing the orchestration and strategy of utilizing experience & operational data to improve the four core experiences of UPS: customer, employee, product, and brand. Kelsey has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from University of Louisville’s College of Business. Kelsey serves as the UPS Corporate Women’s Employee Resource Group Chair leading a 25member board in developing programs for 1,000+ members around D&I, community service, employee development and business development.


Cohort 23 Dallas Ramos Great Western Railway/OmniTRAX Senior General Manager Dallas Ramos currently serves as the Senior General Manager for Great Western Railway (GWR), which is a Class III short-line railroad operating in Northern Colorado. GWR is owned by OmniTRAX, one of North America’s largest and fastest growing private railroad and transportation companies. At GWR, Dallas is responsible for leading a team of professional railroaders that serve two of the fastest growing counties in the State. Dallas is a second-generation railroader with over twenty years in the industry. He has vast experience in all aspects of railroad operations and started his career as a Brakeman with the Colorado & Wyoming Railway in 2001. Dallas also spent several years expanding his experience while working for Union Pacific Railroad on their high speed southern mainline in Texas and Arizona as a Conductor and Locomotive Engineer. He then returned to his roots at the Colorado & Wyoming Railway and entered Management as an Assistant Trainmaster, eventually increasing his area of responsibility, and rising to Senior Trainmaster in 2016. Dallas joined OmniTRAX to lead the GWR team in his current role in 2017. Dallas has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado State University-Pueblo. He currently resides in Fort Collins, Colorado with his wife Karen.


Cohort 23 Tom Royals JB Hunt Transport Director II Tom is Director of Operations at JB Hunt transport and has been with the company for 9 years. All 9 of those years have been in various operations roles in different areas of the country – Chicago, North Carolina, Florida and now recently relocated to Northwest Arkansas to lead JB Hunt’s International Port Dray team. Tom and his wife, Emily, enjoy spending time outdoors with their dog Max and traveling.


Cohort 23 James Thompson CN Rail Vice-President, Strategy and Special Projects James Thompson was appointed Vice-President, Strategy and Special Projects in July 2023, based in Montreal, QC. He is responsible for leading key strategic initiatives and projects while delivering operational efficiencies for CN. James has been with CN over 25 years, holding roles of increasing responsibility in the Company's operations. James was most recently Vice-President, Transportation Western Region, a position he held since April 2019. He began his career as a Track Maintainer in Ontario and has since worked steadily throughout CN’s network refining his abilities in areas such as large team management, operational efficiency, Training, contract negotiation and budget management and business development. James' considerable operational knowledge, as well as his interest and deep experience in management training and team development serve to advance CN's strategic agenda and shape what will be the CN of the future.


Cohort 23 Amy Wettstein Schneider Truckload Regional Vice President Amy Wettstein has over 28 years of transportation experience and has held various roles at Schneider (SNDR) spanning finance, price/ revenue management and network management. She currently holds the role of Truckload Regional Vice President and leads nearly 2,000 drivers, multiple Dedicated accounts and a team of sales leaders that deliver solutions for customers. While overseeing the Truckload Network and Dedicated businesses within the eastern United States, she has been commended for creating multi-modal solutions for customers to overcome capacity shortages. Prior to her current role, Amy led the commercial strategy and execution for several of Schneider’s largest customers. She was the first Enterprise Sales recipient to be awarded Schneider’s prestigious President’s Club award for two consecutive years. Amy also serves as a core team member of the Schneider Women’s Network, an organization focused on developing female leadership talent within SNDR. She has been honored among Women in Trucking 2022 Top Women to Watch in Transportation. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She can often be found on the sidelines supporting her kids at their various sporting events.
