CAREER OUTLOOK

The outlook for communication professionals continues to evolve and grow! The projected employment growth within the communications and marketing industry is expected to increase by 8% (faster than average) through 2028 for manager level, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. A report done by University College and the Business Marketing Association of Colorado found that 46% of hiring managers say that their hiring pools are smaller than they like. The report also found that hiring managers are looking for candidates with a comprehensive skillset, including content marketing, marketing automation, data analysis, and digital marketing. Our graduates hold positions such as Digital Marketing Specialist, Leadership Development Trainer, Mediator, Account Manager, Corporate Recruiter, Internal Communications Director, Marketing Communications Specialist, Talent Acquisition Manager, and Marketing Director.
