CAREER OUTLOOK

Job opportunities in the healthcare field are projected to grow 14% from 2018 to 2028, much faster than the average for all occupations, adding about 1.9 million new jobs, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. As the vast baby boomer population ages and Americans as a whole focus more on preventative care, the demand for medical services is sure to contribute to job growth. Healthcare regulations and insurance policies continue to become more convoluted, and having the skills to interpret the rules accurately will be crucial. Demand for strategic leaders will increase as hospitals, practices, and clinics grow and become more complex, facing challenges like never before. Our graduates have positions such as Chief Operating Officer, Process Improvement Specialist, Manager of Business Operations, Supply Chain Analyst, Nurse Case Manager, and Chief Strategy Officer at organizations such as Centura Health, HealthONE, Children’s Hospital Colorado, UC Health, and the Colorado Hospital
