CYBERSECURITY MANAGEMENT

Be prepared for a leadership role that strengthens organizations by understanding cybersecurity needs, risks, and best practices. Gain insight to governance, compliance, and regulatory issues and considerations in the context of cybersecurity.

GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS Be prepared to join the growing field of geographic information systems and develop the technical and strategic skills needed to help solve real-world problems related to GIS. From foundational spatial data processing to the latest trends in the industry such as using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), you’ll explore GIS technology, tools, and strategy.

INFORMATION SYSTEMS SECURITY Now is the time to enter the growing field of cybersecurity—a high-demand industry facing a major talent shortage as our society becomes more interconnected. Learn to navigate cybersecurity challenges as you develop technical skills to protect information and networks. The curriculum aligns with the Common Body of Knowledge for CISSP certification.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT Gain practical experience in using the tools and techniques of effective project management in a program developed to parallel the PMI® Project Management Body of Knowledge Guide. Through the use of hands-on case studies and project management software, you will learn to apply agile concepts, design risk management plans, and assess project contracts.

SOFTWARE DESIGN AND PROGRAMMING Design, program, and develop effective web-based applications and software using best practices in security and quality assurance. Whether working in a traditional client-server architecture or more contemporary cloud-based architecture, build skills in generating program code, creating database queries, and comparing integrated development environments.

TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT Take your leadership skills to the next level and learn how to manage technology, meet business requirements, and fulfill the vision of your organization. You’ll gain strategies in developing business cases, forecasting technology trends, forming strategic alliances, and navigating internet and cloud law.

TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY Be prepared to meet the challenges that come with the explosion of wireless data traffic due to the rapid increase of mobile devices and the Internet of Things (IoT) and their impact on the emergence of 5G networks. Gain practical insight into the leading standards and protocols and evaluate emerging telecommunications technologies.

WEB DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

Learn to create interactive, web and mobile applications that support the demands of contemporary business. Hands-on instruction in UX principles, information architecture, and web design will prepare you to create websites using popular programming languages and frameworks.
