SAMPLE SCHEDULE

Advance your career with a master’s degree earned in as few as 18 months or take up to five years. A graduate certificate can be earned in less than a year.

CORE COURSES - 5 COURSES (20 CREDITS) - Learn the scope of the field including past, present, and future. A research course and capstone (project, seminar, or portfolio) round out your experience.

Flexibility means moving through the program at your own pace. Master's degrees require 12 courses (in any order). You have an opportunity to switch between online and on campus and choose how many classes you take per 10-week quarter.

CONCENTRATION COURSES - 4 COURSES (16 CREDITS) - These courses allow you to focus on a specific professional area within the larger industry sector. ELECTIVE COURSES - 3 COURSES (12 CREDITS) - Elective courses allow you to customize your degree and develop a broader perspective within or outside of your industry.

NO GRE OR GMAT University College

does not require GRE or GMAT scores because we believe testing doesn’t predict success. As a working professional, your experience speaks volumes and our other admission criteria paints a better picture of your potential.

When we say we work for working adults, we mean it. Four start dates per year, no GRE or GMAT score required for admission, and even an opportunity to take a class before you’re admitted all means we’re ready when you are.

FINANCIAL AID Financing your college education can be a challenge, so University College is here to guide you through the process. We have a Student Financial Advisor available to help and the DU Financial Aid Office has specific information for graduate aid. After you apply for admission, complete the Free Application for Federal Aid (FAFSA). Ask about the Graduate Impact Scholarship!

VETERAN BENEFITS DU degree programs are approved by the Colorado State Approving Agency. Veterans should first determine benefit entitlement and eligibility by calling 1-888-GIBILL1. Students who are entitled to VA benefits can call the Veteran Services Coordinator at 303-871-2074 or visit du.edu/veterans.

MISSED THE DEADLINE? Take up to

three courses in any given quarter even if you missed the application deadline. Apply the next quarter and the credits will apply to your admitted program.

INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS International students have additional admission requirements, including: proof of English proficiency, official translated copies of transcripts (if needed), a photocopy of your current passport, SEVIS supplement, and a financial verification form.
