Welcome to Hampton Court House and to our second annual careers and universities fair! This year, we are delighted to welcome students from Teddington School, Waldegrave School, and Eaton Square School, as well as our own students, to listen to speakers from law, finance, psychology, and IT, among many other industries We hope you will find them interesting and engaging, and that they will help you form your own careers choices over the next few years
As you move towards the world of work, you will be facing some unique challenges, from the development of AI to the loss of some traditional careers paths However, it is also a time of opportunity as you will be at the forefront of the exciting changes in the ways we work and live Whatever you choose to do, you will be contributing to that new, innovative, and exciting world.

MichaelBahar is currently a partner at the law firm Eversheds Sutherland where he serves as global colead for Data Privacy, Security and Technology He is also a Captain in the U S Navy Reserves and the Commanding Officer of the Reserve Unit for the Defense Institute of International Legal Studies (DIILS)
Previously, Michael served as the Staff Director and General Counsel for the U S House of Representatives' Intelligence Committee, which oversees the CIA, NSA, and all 17 components of the U S Intelligence Community While with the Committee, he stood up the Committee’s investigation into the Russian hacking of the 2016 US elections
Before that, he was Deputy Legal Adviser to the National Security Council at the White House under President Obama
Michael also spent around 11 years on Active Duty as a U S Navy JAG (a uniformed lawyer), and he remains in the Reserves Between 2019 and 2020, Michael served asthe Deputy Legal Advisor for the Commander of RESOLUTE SUPPORT (the NATO mission in Afghanistan) and for COMMANDER, USFORA (the US mission in Afghanistan) During that deployment, he was the lead lawyer for the peace talks with the Taliban which ended the war
He also deployed to Afghanistan in 2012 with a Special Operations Task Force, and he deployed at sea between November 2005 and April 2006 as the Staff Judge Advocate (lawyer) to the USS NASSAU Expeditionary Strike Group in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom, as well as in support of counter-piracy operations (catching the Navy’s first set of pirates in over 150 years)
Additionally, while on Active Duty, Michael served in the Pentagon twice, with the Navy SEALs in Virginia Beach, and as a prosecutor at Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida
Michael grew up in New York, graduated from New Rochelle High School in 1993, Yale University in 1997, Cambridge University in 1998, and Harvard Law School in 2002 He also has an LLM in international/national security law from Columbia University (2008) Michael has been an adjunct professor at NYU and at the University of North Florida
Most important, he is father to Rose and Joshua Bahar, and husband of Hannah Bahar They have a dog, Henry, and a cat, Hermione

David Little is a business lawyer, focusing on transactional work, especially acquisitions and disposals of businesses He also has a corporate finance practice, focusing on smaller cap listings and fundraisings on the Standard List, AIM, and Aquis As a passionate sportsman and spectator, David has built up a credible sports practice, focusing particularly on governance matters and on marketing, merchandise, and sports finance generally He has also built up a large client following in the media, marketing, and PR sectors, as well as restaurants, bars, and contract catering David serves as a Director on the Board of Supporters Direct, the umbrella organisation for Supporters Trust
Harrison Devaney joined Bishop & Sewell as a Paralegal in March 2017 He completed his Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, Chester in 2016, prior to which he studied law at the University of Kent, Canterbury As part of his degree, Harrison spent a year studying both Mandarin Chinese and International Law at Southwest University of Political Science and Law in Chongqing, China During this time he also undertook work experience at the British Chamber of Commerce and in the corporate department of an international law firm Harrison is originally from the North West of England, but spent the majority of his childhood living overseas between Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Budapest

Daher el Meouchi studied economics and management at McGill University in Canada and started his career in New York trading FX cash and options After completing graduate studies in Finance and ecommerce, he worked at the National Bank of Canada as a portfolio manager and then joined their FX options trading desk From there, he started to focus on implementing new businesses at banks mainly on the capital markets side In 2007, he came back to London to work for Commerzbank, including on its merger withDresdner Bank, and continued on to work with multiple large organisations on the realisation of various strategic initiatives After a stint at JP Morgan FX, he joined HSBC in 2014 to work on their FX distribution engine and from there joined the commercial bank, where he helped to build and commercialise the digital wallet proposition for which he is the Product Director today
Milagros was born and raised in Argentina, studied Business Administration and completed a Masters in finance, with specialisation in Corporate Finance She began working at HSBC Argentina at 21, while pursuing her BBA Over six years, she held various positions within the company, all in Argentina, and last year relocated to the UK for a new role as Global Wallet Product Manager at HSBC In her spare time, she loves travelling, which she's been able to do more frequently since moving to the UK

Pechate Mahehyong has been working for Met Police for 10 years, during which time he has been a response officer, SNT and Recruitment He also works as a translator for the Met in the Thai language, which has been extremely useful to help solve cases including murder, attempted murder and modern slavery He is also an authorised firearm officer, which will be his next role at Windsor Castle

Beatrice Rossmanith is a media consultant in the TV industry With 18 years ’ experience in the business, she is an expert in international audience behaviour analysis, market trends, and production processes Beatrice is the Managing Director of Glance Ltd (formerly Tape Consultancy), a subsidiary of French audience measurement institute Médiamétrie,managing a London-based team of experts who provide consultancy services worldwide Her job involves giving speeches at major industry markets, reporting on new series in developments, acquisition consultancy and concept testing and analysis for producers She works with international broadcasters and platforms, as well as producers and distributors of all sizes She also manages an international sales team based in London, Paris and Vienna Prior to her current position, Beatrice spent 15 years working in programme and format distribution across a wide variety of genres and held multiple positions at UK companies and international groups including NBCUniversal and RedBull She holds an MA in English Literature from the University of St Andrews (1st class) and continued her post-graduate studies in Comparative Literature at the LMU in Munich She speaks fluent French and German

Will Brierley is Senior Groundsperson - Championship Courts at the All England Lawn Tennis Club, better known as Wimbledon Whilst undertaking a National Diploma in Sports Turf, he began his career in tennis working at The Northern Lawn Tennis Club in Manchester in 2004 He joined AELTC in 2005 with a seasonal staff opportunity as part of the National Diploma, and returned again in spring 2006 when a full-time position becameavailable He was made Senior Groundsperson for Championships Courts in 2012, and since then has taken part in various speaking and TV commitments including both industry events and opportunities with BBC's The One Show in 2019 and BBC Radio 1 with Adele Roberts in 2021 Across his career Will has worked 18Wimbledon Championships, 2 Davis Cup Ties, the 2012 Olympic Games and at Anfield Stadium

After graduating from Norwich School of Art in 1992, Joshua set up his own design studio in Shoreditch, designing for a number of independent and major record labels He continued for the next decade working within the music and fashion industries, creating album cover designs and promotional items for a plethora of bands and artists, across all genres of music and styles His work gradually expanded to include packaging, web design, and branding Today, he still runs the same design studio he set up 30+ years ago, but also manages everything creative for Alchemist Consulting, a specialist medicomarketing consultancy
