I wanted to help raise some money to keep the centre on the road.” ciera Laverty is a mother-of-three from Hackballscross. ciera and her husband, Eddie Laverty, are parents to three boys, Eamonn, aged nine; Eoghan, aged seven and oisin, aged five. ciera added: “It takes a lot of fundraising to keep the centre going. a lot more families are using it.”

“Eoghan has Down Syndrome and has been using the centre since he was two or three,” said ciera.
“He likes going to it and attends occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy and Handwriting without Tears classes.
