WearesoexcitedtopresentourfirstAnnual ImpactReport.Whileit’sbeenachallenging yearformany,wehavesomebrightspotsto bragaboutasweworkhardtosupportour localbusinesscommunity.
Thisyear,wewelcomedthreenewteam members:myselfandourEventsDirector, JanetteDonoghue,alongwithourSpecial ProjectsCoordinator,DamonSmith.Withour revitalizedteam,wearemoreexcitedthan everandwellonourwaytobecomingaforce tobereckonedwith!
We’vesteadilyincreasedthenumberofeventswehost,andwe’rethrilledtoreport thatattendancehasbeenbetterthanever.Oursocialmediapresencehasgrown exponentially,andourweeklynewsletterismoreinformative,offeringvaluable, timelyupdatestoourcommunity.
TheVisitorCentercontinuestobethecornerstoneofDowntown,whereweproudly showcaseourvibrantbusinesscommunitytovisitorsfromnearandfar.Itremainsa keyresourceforthoselookingtoexploreeverythingourareahastooffer.
WealsotookAdvocacyeffortstonewheights.Wesuccessfullylobbiedforthecity NoiseOrdinancetoremainunchanged,toremovethe11:00p.m.curfewonthe OutdoorDiningOrdinance,andtomoveforwardwiththedesignphaseoftheWest EndParkingGarage.Butthisisjustthebeginning….nextyear,wewillbecontinuingto followthestatusofthegarage,advocatingfor30minuteservicefortheJolleyTrolley &thestartupoftheClearwaterFerryrighthereinDunedin.
Aswelookaheadtonextyearaswellas,weareexcitedtounveilanewwebsiteand introduceexpandededucationalopportunitiesforourmembership.Theseinitiatives aredesignedtofurthersupportthegrowthandsuccessofourbusinesscommunity.
Wewanttothankyouforyourstrongsupportduringour2024fiscalyear.Weare gratefulfortheprogresswe’vemadetogether,andwelookforwardtoservingyou evenmorein2025.
