JUMPING TOWER AS NEVER BEFORE

Covering of jumping tower was one of most technically demanding project done in a history of DUOL company. Complete team worked hand in hand to finish a project at the end of 2010. Successfully: the object meets all technical, economical, safety and aesthetic criteria. Erected double membrane system makes a special cube form in a point, where the tower is cut into inner and outer part. A fabric is connected to the tower of 15m by a metal rink on a height of 7,5m. The tower heel is not domed. Dimensions of air supported structure 34 x 33 x h10m are adjusted to the existing jumping pool. The dome is erected in sports complex, very well known not only in Croatia, but also in water sport circles abroad. Facilities are located near the sea. The level of corrosive is because of near-sea location high. That’s why all vital part of the dome are extra zinc-coated or made from inox. Because of the DUOL's special double membrane system there is no condense inside the dome. We are very proud of our contribution to developing of Kantrida Swimming Pool Center, Rijeka (Croatia).
CONNECTED TO THE CAPITAL STRUCTURES Each dome is unique, designed and produced upon customer needs. Furthermore air supported structures are usually parts of sports infrastructures at leisure or business complex. How to combine facilities, existing or new one? Air supported structure’s engineering allows to connect the dome to any capital structure without significant modification on a building. Connection is done by fast anchoring system to the wall or the roof. The dome, having connection to the capital structure, could be used permanently or seasonally.
