2022 season standing: 1st

Max Verstappen’s championship season in 2022 wasn’t all roses. Right out of the gate, both Verstappen and Sergio Perez posted DNFs at the first race in Bahrain. While results improved in the second race of the season with a first-place finish for Verstappen, he followed up the victory with a retirement in Australia. After that, Verstappen and Perez were by far the most dominant duo during the 2022 season. For 2023, Red Bull Racing remains focusing on improving its car while dealing with a 10 percent reduction in its aerodynamic testing budget and the imposed cost cap. If Red Bull can put together an even better car and start this season with a hot streak, there may be no stopping the team.
