Many have implemented new reporting procedures and are creating carbon-free footprints, supporting green causes, and turning to recycled and upcycled materials.

Family-owned brand Norqain unveils its Wild One Hakuna Mipaka x Dean Schneider watch that boasts a khaki-colored, animalfriendly rubber strap. The watch includes sand in the shock absorber that comes from the Hakuna Mipaka Oasis, where it supports a lion sanctuary founded by brand ambassador Dean Schneider. This automatic mechanical watch, which retails for $5,590, is made of high-performance Norteq, a proprietary carbon ﬁber composite whose leftovers are recycled and upcycled.

With a self-mandated mission to bring “Change for the Better,” Oris regularly supports important causes such as the Coral Restoration Foundation, clean beaches and waters around the world, and the Billion Oyster program. The brand also makes a commitment to sustainability with its Aquis Date Upcycle. The 41.5-millimeter timepiece, priced at $2,300, features a dial made completely of recycled PET bottles. (There is also a 36.5-millimeter option.)

With a long history ingrained in marine and maritime watches, Ulysse Nardin regularly aligns with a host of ocean causes and is the O cial Timing Partner and Time to Act Partner of The Ocean Race, in which teams sail around the world over a six-month period while also collecting water and data from remote parts of the oceans. The brand even has a shark as its mascot. The Diver Net x The Ocean Race watch, created in a limited edition of 200 pieces, $11,900 each, boasts a case made of 40 percent carbonium and 60 percent recycled ﬁshing nets, along with a strap made from PET bottles.

The new Korth NXR model brings a six-shot .44 Magnum to the legendary roster of Korth revolvers. The NXR is available with a 4” or 6” hammer-forged precision barrel and an integrated Picatinny rail on the frame.
