We, at Father’s Daughters Pizza, strive not to leave behind a legacy; rather to improve the quality of family and community throughout our journey. Father’s Daughter Pizza, formerly known as Diorios South Pizza established in 1997, is located in the heart of downtown Durango, on the corner of Main Avenue and College Drive.

In the spring of 2016 the peel was passed to born and raised local, Dru English, his wife, Crystal English, and her father David Lenamond, known around the shop as Pop’s. Pop’s and Crystal have elegantly worked to improve the atmosphere by creating a family-friendly environment for all ages. Most importantly they provide a consistent quality, accompanied by great service.

Embracing Durango, Colorado’s “old west” and Victorian heritage, as well as contemporary culinary trends and techniques, El Moro is part of Durango’s family of unique and independentlyowned restaurants. The name ‘El Moro’ also reflects Durango’s history, as in the early 1900s, 945 Main Avenue truly was the El Moro Saloon. The present-day El Moro has some of the ‘feel’ of the original saloon with bared red brick, tin ceiling, hardwood floors and heavy wooden tables. The menu can be described as ‘modern rustic’. The simple and memorable dishes are designed to blend classic, old world preparations with exciting techniques that have evolved from the modern cuisine movement, such as spherification, which will highlight the qualities of the ingredients.
