TOD’S MILAN, ITALY
Tod’s opens a new space in key luxury shopping thoroughfare, galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, in the main passage linking the cathedral to the Teatro Alla Scala.
Present for more than 20 years in Milan’s salon par excellence, the new Tod’s boutique reflects the synthesis of the brand’s DNA, the elegance of Italian style and the values of traditional craftsmanship.
Distributed over two floors, the boutique is characterized by two shop windows overlooking the gallery itself and by a wide staircase which is visible from the entrance and made entirely of travertine, which serves as an elegant link between the two floors.
The new Tod’s boutique in galleria Vittorio Emanuele houses the Tod’s women’s and men’s collections, including the iconic Di bag, which is also available to customize, together with the ballerina and the bubble gommino.
Tod’s latest branch marks a new point of reference for international shopping, in continuity with the tradition of the Milan salon.
An icon of Made-in-Italy, Tod’s represents a lifestyle that marries timeless elegance with supreme quality. A lifestyle closely tied to the concept of Italian flair, good taste, and savoir vivre.
Synonymous around the globe for unmistakable elegance, understated, and refined style, over the years, Tod’s has created true style icons of the Italian lifestyle through its footwear, ready-to-wear and leather goods collections. First and foremost, the Gommino shoe in its many guises, followed by the Di Bag and many others.
Every object is made following the meticulous techniques of fine Italian craftsmanship with a series of processes and controls that, every day, give life to exclusive products in a unique reinterpretation of contemporary elegance.
Since October 2019, Walter Chiapponi has been the Creative Director of the Tod’s Women’s and Men’s collections, bringing the excellence of Tod’s across an international panorama of Italian quality and style.
The brand’s most iconic bag, the Di Bag, introduced in 1997, was an immediate success thanks to its famous clientele. Princess Diana, Naomi Campbell, Nicole Kidman, and Princess Caroline of Monaco are only some of the celebrities who have worn this bag over the last few decades. Boldly reinterpreted today by Creative Director Walter Chiapponi and entirely handcrafted by our artisans, the Di Bag represents the perfect balance between traditional fine craftsmanship, experimentation, and creativity. tods.com

AESOP DUBAI, UAE
Located on the ground floor, Aesop’s second incarnation within Mall of the Emirates carries customers out of their day-to-day lives and into a sanctuary of enveloping quietude. The in-house design team found inspiration in various kinds of underground architecture and unseen or invisible spaces that simultaneously protect and transport: the mood board for the store was filled with arched forms, low-lit rooms, cool blues, and a certain feeling of other-worldly isolation.
Accordingly, the rectangular shell has been transfigured into an ovular room with a vaulted ceiling-shrouding visitors in silver fir blue and conjuring vintage submarine interiors.
Streamlined shelving wraps the perimeter, providing an uninterrupted platform for the exploration of a range of formulations for the skin, hair, body and home-trained consultants are on hand to help navigate it, with advice about products best suited to individual needs.
In the depths of the store, tucked behind the primary chamber, a moody Sensorium reveals a world of unconventional fragrances.

MAS AND ROLEX BOUTIQUE MANAMA, BAHRAIN
At the sophisticated Modern Art Studio and Rolex boutique, guests with a discerning eye can indulge in a one-of-a-kind experience featuring a collection of over 800 watches on display.
Located in City Centre Bahrain, every detail of the boutique has been meticulously crafted using the finest materials to reflect Arabian culture. The impressive Rolex collection is displayed in stunning walnut showcases, with the interior design developed in collaboration with Rolex Interior Design Specialists to showcase their perfectionist approach.
From the Swiss-manufactured wall panels to the Italian-made Murano chandelier, the boutique exudes a level of luxury that embodies the exclusivity that Rolex offers, especially in the VIP suite dedicated to private viewings. The professional staff, some of whom have been with Modern Art Studio for over three decades, are always on hand to offer valuable advice.
Founded in 1936 by Naji Murad, Modern Art Studio’s original shop was located in Government Avenue, Manama, Bahrain. In 1940 Hans Wilsdorf, founder of Rolex Geneva, officially appointed Modern Art Studio as the first and only Rolex agent in the Gulf. Naji Murad promoted and sold watches from his store in Bahrain and also to his sub agents in the Gulf. He later recommended them to Rolex to become official agents, many of whom are still distributors of Rolex today.
Modern Art Studio’s new Rolex showroom was opened in 1978. The shop featured exclusive showcases which not only displayed the watches but were also cleverly designed into individual letters spelling the name ROLEX.
Richard and David Murad, the sons of Naji Murad, have taken the reins of Modern Art Studio, which continues to trade as a well-established family business. Hans Wilsdorf founded Tudor watches in 1946 and the first Tudor Boutique in the Gulf was opened by Modern Art Studio in Manama Bahrain in December 2014.
Today, Modern Art Studio remains at the forefront of promoting Rolex and Tudor watches in the Gulf.
