Cantaloupe It is hard to believe, but the great taste of a juicy sweet cantaloupe comes with a very small caloric price: 50 calories per 6 oz. slice! Mango Known as the “king of fruit, mangos have only 70 calories per half a mango, and are high in vitamin C as well as being a good source of vitamin A, fiber and potassium. Banana A perfect health package: carbohydrates supply energy, Vitamin C helps the body heal, Vitamin B6 supports the immune system, potassium is essential for building muscles and most importantly it tastes great too! Papaya The only fruit containing papain, a substance identical to digestive compounds produced by the pancreas. Papaya is high in vitamin C and a good source of fiber. Pineapple In 1493 Columbus found the fruit on the island of Guadeloupe and carried it back to Spain. Pineapples are a great source of fiber and vitamin C.
