Brief one / Blue Rinse Branding The colour pallette for the Blue Rinse Brand was inspired by the vibrant colours of the 1980’s and where possible these were the only colours used.
The shapes and symbols were a homage to the then innovative computer art and a nod towards the popular if eccentric trend with geometric shapes in the late 1980’s. The typography used is mustang and was chosen to compliment the vivid colours with hand drawn aesthetic.

Brief one / Blue Rinse Branding With the website I wanted to take inspiration from the digital artwork that was present towards the end of the 1980’s that featured on computer game packaging and television graphics whilst still being a functioning and easily navigated website.

Brief one / Blue Rinse Branding / Collaboration with Alice Vine For the instore design of Blue Rinse I wanted wallpaper designs that echoed the brand. To accomplish this I approached Alice with a brief to design a minimum of three wallpaper designs that were inspired by the 1980’s. I gave her a collection of images that I wanted her to use as a starting point but other than that she had full control of the design.
