Each year the freight airline and trucking companies implement a holiday surcharge to cover the cost of chartering extra equipment to handle the holiday volume.
In the past, we have absorbed the entirety of the surcharge in order to keep your Standing Order (and double if applicable) at its annual or seasonal price. Due to the continued increases we are experiencing as a percentage of total cost, we will be adding a minimal surcharge to your Standing Order deliveries for the holiday period.

We sincerely appreciate the opportunity to service you and your business with our Cream of the Crop program, the industry’s leading Farm Direct Weekly Standing Order Program.
All of our selections are annual commitments between the customer, DVFlora, and our premium grower partners. We ask that all of your choices with us be based on your weekly needs and usage requirements over the course of an entire year.
In the event that you are unsatisfied with a product, pack, farm, or grower quality, you can switch to another product that better meets your needs or you may permanently cancel at any time without penalty. NOTE: The farm requires 10 business days during non-holiday time (we regret that changes cannot be made three weeks prior to holiday shipping).
Our partner farms base their year-round production schedules on these standing orders. For that reason, we can only accept up to two temporary cancellations of any selection per year. Please communicate cancellations with your assigned associate at least five days in advance of the date you would normally receive your standing order.
Any custom pack, box, or mix that you have selected is harvested and shipped specifically for your store. As a result, those items cannot be temporarily cancelled at any time. We reserve the right to permanently cancel any unauthorized, cancelled custom boxes.
Cancellations of Cut Greens product during the Christmas Greens season are exempt from the two cancellation limit.

OF YOUR CREAM OF THE CROP STANDING ORDER
FRESH CUT FLOWERS:
Unpack and process the flowers immediately. Remove foliage below water level.
Recut stems taking off about 1".
Treat your ethylene sensitive flowers with an anti-ethylene product.
Place flowers in a clean container with flower food solution.
Hold flowers at room temperature for 1 – 2 hours (2-4 hours if flowers are limp or exhibiting bent neck) prior to storage in cooler or designing.
Place flowers in a 34 – 38°F cooler with 80 – 90% humidity.
TROPICAL varieties:
Unpack immediately.
Recut stems taking off about 1".
Treat your ethylene sensitive flowers with an anti-ethylene product.
Place flowers in a clean container with flower food solution.
Hold flowers at room temperature for 1 – 2 hours (2-4 hours if flowers are limp or exhibiting bent neck) prior to storage in cooler or designing.
