Overberg athletes set new records

Learners from several high schools in the Overberg took part in the North Zone athletics trials at Hermanus High School on Saturday 8 February, to battle it out for a spot in the South Boland athletics trials, which will take place this Saturday in Grabouw.

Jack Armando from Gansbaai Academia had a strong lead and came first in the U15 boys 800m.

Keaton Kiewitz from Groenberg Secondary attempts to break the U17 boys high jump record which currently stands at a height of 1.85m.
