Tourism sets its sights on growth

Together with housing, the continued growth of theOverstrand economy has become one of the top priorities for the region.

With national and international economies under pressure the task of ensuring sustained growth locally has fallen on the shoulders of local businesses in partnership with the provincial and local governments, says Clinton Lerm, one of the leaders of a tourism think-tank established to investigate ways of growing tourism in the region.
