Tri-State PGA Birdies Fore Charity will occur at Wildwood Golf Club on Monday, July 31st.

This event will generate proceeds for our Tri-State Reach Foundation and UPMC Children's Hospital Foundation.

The program introduces the game of golf through a developmental 6-8 week curriculum led by PGA Professionals trained in adaptive golf and military and cultural competency. All programs are funded by PGA REACH and supplemented by PGA Section Foundations, so the programming cost is accessible to all Veterans.

Dan Braun named PSAC Men’s Golf Coach of the Year

EXCERPTS... – IUP men's golf head coach Dan Braun earned 2022-23 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Golf Coach of the Year honors, the league announced Thursday.

Braun receives his second Coach of the Year honor by the PSAC, winning the honor in a shortened 2019-20 season.

Braun helped lead IUP to its record 32nd PSAC Championship and a spot in the NCAA DII National Championships for the first time since 2014-15. The title was the fourth in as many seasons for Braun at the helm of the IUP men's golf program, marking the fifth conference crown in the last seven seasons.

Rodgers Named 2023 NCAA Division III Dave Williams National Coach of the Year (Via CMU Athletics on June 07, 2023)

EXCERPTS... – Dan Rodgers, head coach of the Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team, has been named the 2023 Division III Dave Williams National Coach of the Year presented by Golf Pride Grips as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

In May, Rodgers coached the Tartans to the first team NCAA Division III Championship in university history.

The honor is the second overall for Rodgers, as he received the same accolade in 2020 from the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) after he guided the Tartan women's program to the top position in the final Division III national rankings by Golfstat.

CMU Men’s Golf Travels to White House for College Athlete Day

EXCERPTS... – The Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team participated in the first-ever College Athlete Day celebration in the nation's capital on Monday. The Tartans had eight team members present, along with Head Coach Dan Rodgers and Assistant Coach Colleen Meyers.

"It was truly an honor and privilege to be on the White House lawn to celebrate the College Athlete Day of Champions. Obviously, it's not something you get to do every day. Being inside the gate of the White House and having the photos taken and that experience is just so memorable. I am not sure that there are true words to describe what we got to do. It was an amazing day."
