The section would like to share this card and the message we received from Nikki Braun, Lead Annual Giving Officer with the UMPC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Our ‘PGA of America REACH Foundation Tri-State’ produced the 2nd annual ‘Birdie Bash’ this year and provided inflatable golf games for kids and families at the ‘Walk for Children’s.’
UMPC CHF has become an essential and impactful collaboration that we will continue to grow and assist with the life-saving work they provide. Thank you to all of our members who participated in these events and participated with the PGA Reach Tri-State Foundation.
Congratulations to Dr. Andrew Dulak of Dulak Physical Therapy and Golf; this recognition by Golf Digest is wellearned and deserved. Andrew and his team work excellently with pro, amateur, and junior golfers in the section and region to improve golf performance and fitness.

It was a great year, run, and experience for The Hot Shots representing Pennsylvania, the Tri-State Section, and Hot Shot Golf Academy.
5th place in the 17u National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Championship was not the result they wanted, but they will continue to grow and thrive as players and people.
The TSPGA is proud of these young men and their coaches, Troy Williams and Jason Higginbotham.

Ron Gionta attended the Veterans Leadership Program (VLP) Breakfast at Duquesne University on Veterans Day to mingle, introduce, and promote the PGA HOPE program. Approximately 350 to 375 veterans were in attendance, and Ron was able to meet and speak with leaders of several veterans organizations and many of the veterans in attendance. He felt that his first event as an ambassador on Veterans Day appeared highly successful and had a good start in getting our message out there.
Veterans have given everything to be there for our country when we need it most. We need to be there when they come back. PGA HOPE aims to serve more than 50,000 Veterans by the end of 2024 at program locations nationwide.
Led by PGA of America Golf Professionals, PGA HOPE is introducing and teaching golf through a 6-8 week curriculum while creating a path forward for Veterans and Active Duty Service Members.
PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is on a mission unlike any other - to change and save Veterans' Lives through the game of golf. Join the mission today.
