The 17u and 13u teams crushed it in Syracuse at Drumlins Country Club. They move on to the National Championship! Cheers to head coaches Troy Williams (17u) and Adam Morrison (13u), well-done men, and a big congratulations to the junior golf competitors. You make us all proud.
What a season of golf by the 17u Rolling Fields Golf Club PGA Jr. League team; they are the PGAJL Regional Championship Runners Up. They made a hard run in the Section Championship and followed that up in the Regional Championships. Congratulations to the Junior golfers and Head Coach Dick Logan, PGA.
The section had four teams in the qualifying and match play tournament. We applaud the 13u Hot Shots, head coach Troy Williams, and his team of junior golfers for their outstanding effort and representation of the section.

PGA HOPE Certified Professional Mike Papson celebrated Graduation Day at Valley Brook Country Club.
Mike conducted his PGA HOPE program with fellow HOPE Certified Professionals Brett Carman, Mike Frisina, Bernie Hough, and Jay Mull. The final session included adaptive golf instruction for U.S. Military Veterans, 3-holes of golf on the course (which included a birdie by a Veteran, and distribution of graduation certificates. Thank you to Mike, the team, and the veterans who attended the program and enjoyed the game of golf and camaraderie.

The series will be at PGA Golf Club in December, featuring six competitions across all three courses, including the newly renovated Wanamaker Course.
This is your chance to practice and prepare for all three 2025 Member Championships coming to PGA Golf Club.

Perrino given Senior Player of the Year honors, set to compete.
New Castle native Eddie Perrino continues to have success on the links. Perrino was named by the TriState Section PGA as the Senior Player of the Year. Perrino, a member of the Professional Golfers Association of America (PGA) and Tri-State Section PGA (TSPGA), will also represent the Tri-State Section, competing in the PGA of America Senior Professional Championship in Sunriver, Oregon, on Sept. 26-29. Throughout the year, Perrino, a golf professional at Connoquenessing Country Club, clinched four tournament titles, including the Jim Ferree Classic, Dr. John Aber Memorial Classic, Tam O’Shanter Open, and Nemacolin Falling Rock Classic. Perrino was also named to his second consecutive TSPGA Palmer Cup team.
