We celebrate and honor all of the United States Presidents who have served the country, and we also salute and celebrate the Presidents of our Tri-State Section PGA.

Isaly's Junior Golf Tour - We had an active Individual Tournament Registration on Super Bowl Sunday, with events selling out. We have open slots, but they are going fast for our centennial-year celebration of junior golf.

30TH ANNUAL LAS VEGAS PRO-AM | OCT. 14-19, 2023
Dear TSPGA Members and Associates,
Viva Las Vegas! Registration for the 30th Annual Las Vegas Pro-Am is now open. The section will have access to all 3 golf courses on all 3 days of the event, and the field will consist of the first 60 paid teams. April 1, 2023, the TSPGA will let the Las Vegas Paiute golf resort know the number of teams we are bringing; if the number of teams is lower than 60, we will only have access to 2 golf courses for the trip. A $1,200 team deposit is required to hold your spot and will be due by March 15th, 2023 Full event details and registration form are below. If you have any questions, please call Andrew in the TSPGA office at 724774-2224.
The Tri-State PGA is no longer accepting credit cards over the phone. If you have an amateur wanting to make the team deposit, they must contact Andrew in the office. TSPGA Professionals can use their credit card on file to make the deposit This event will sell out, so do not wait. After the first 60 paid and approved teams, you will be placed on the waitlist

SECTION VISIT
This week, Kim Shafer, PGA of America Player Engagement Consultant, visited the TSPGA office. She spent two days with the team sharing her wealth of knowledge, guidance, and education regarding the PGA Junior League, PGA Coach, and the other vital programs within the PGA of America.
We had a wonderful time with Kim and even enlightened her about Primanti Bros.
Centennial Spotlight
DENNIS DARAK, SR.
DENNIS SPENT 43 YEARS IN THE GOLF BUSINESS IN WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA AND RETIRED AS CEO/EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE TRI-STATE SECTION PGA IN 2016 (19732016). HIS WIFE KAREN WORKED WITH HIM FOR 35 YEARS AND RETIRED BY HIS SIDE.
THE DENNIS J. DARAK SR. CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY IS GIVEN YEARLY TO OUR TRI-STATE SECTION TOUR CHAMPION.
DENNIS' FATHER, JOHN DARAK, SERVED AS TRI-STATE SECTION PRESIDENT, AND BOTH ARE MEMBERS OF THE TRI-STATE SECTION PGA HALL OF FAME.
DENNIS DARAK IS GENUINELY A GOLF ICON IN WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA WHO DEDICATED HIS LIFE TO THE BUSINESS OF GOLF AND TO GROWING THE GAME.
