For the AW14 menswear collection, Pyer Moss designer Kerby Jean-Raymond draws inspiration from the Shizoku, nineteenth centur y Samurai who, stripped of their power and nobility, were forced to car ve out a new identity as warriors now living a civilian life. Jean-Raymond utilizes sharp contrasts and jagged shapes to evoke how garments worn by the Shizoku would look after emerging from battle.
