We maintain our belief that the SimAngus cattle are still the most effective tool in achieving these goals. They are also the most versatile hybrid on the market; being accepted by purebred breeders, club calf producers, and commercial cattlemen alike. For as long as I can remember we have tried to raise cattle that will live long and productive lives in a “real world” environment, but are still phenotypically equipped to produce high quality show cattle. It is, no doubt, a bit of balancing act, but seems to be evolving in a favorable manner. This years sale is highlighted by, what we feel, are the best genetics produced from the famed “Donna” tribe’s integration into the SimAngus genetic base.
