The Select Showcase Simmental Sale group, as well as Dwyer Cattle Services, would first of all like to extend a personal invitation to each of you to attend the Select Showcase Simmental Sale to be held September 15, 2012 at 1:00 pm. We will yet again be hosting this sale at the Tippie Beef Center located on the campus of Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, IA. We can not remember a more exciting time to be involved in the cattle business than right now. The show cattle community is the strongest it has been in the past 20 years with Jackpot shows entering record numbers each and every week of the show season. On the commercial side the cow numbers are now the lowest they have been in 40 years, developing a trend of weak supply and high demand. The cattle represented in this sale are the type to win in the show ring as well as make you profits in the pasture. The consignors in this sale are responsible for raising multiple National Champion females as well as some very competitive show steers. Last year’s crop of sale cattle produced Champion and Reserve Champion honors at multiple county fairs across the state of Iowa. The members of this sale group have strived over the years to bring cutting edge genetics to the sale ring each and every year. All of the calves sold will be halter broke and ready for show, and as always will be sold in an open and honest manner.
