DYLAN AT MINER is a border-crossing artist, activist, historian, curator, and professor working throughout Turtle Island. In 2010, he was awarded an Artist Leadership Fellowship from the National Museum of the American Indian (Smithsonian). In 2011, he will hang solo exhibitions at Urban Shaman Gallery in Canada, University of Notre Dame, Alma College, Michigan Institute for Contemporary Art, and Fort Lewis College, a university that once served as an American Indian boarding school. As a member of Justseeds, he was awarded the Grand Prix at the 28th Biennial of Graphic Arts in Slovenia, and installed a solo Justseeds exhibition at the 29th Biennial. Next year, he will travel to Norway to exhibit (Small Projects Gallery) and work with the Sami people, as well as install a solo show at Columbia College Chicago immediately prior to G8 and NATO summits in that city.
