Lora Zombie was born in Voronezh, Russia in 1990 (Making her 24), at a young age she started drawing and set on becoming a artist. she was “Born a artist” and has done nothing else but pursue her passion of art, Which helped her create the works of art that are now considered to be “Grunge Art“. Lora’s work is made using ink and watercolor. Most of her work has the essence of childlike wonder with dark realities that occur in the world on a daily basis. Though her painting’s show the harsh reality they also in her opinion also should be beautiful “Color, I use a lot of bright, fluorescent colors in my work. Art isn’t only about the message, it also should be beautiful,” As of late lora has been dabbling in the gallery scene with exhibitions in Russia, Toronto, New York and Chicago, recieving glances from new fans and collectors around the world. All of her painting’s have unique names for instince the ones shown on this mage are entitled “SUXXX“ and “Birds-Girl“ In the names alone you see her childlike but edgy nature, which is refreshing in this day and age where everything shown to the public is so G rated and cencored Lora paves the way in telling a story of fantasy and reality in her paintings giving the world a new look at reality through her eyes. His current GOT project includes almost 30 minimilist posters, That all Dipict a grusome death in a artistic way to the hungry for more fan base. To create these fan favorites he goes through 5 stages of design which he has kindly showed us for the Image below “The brief was to illustrate the shocking death of Ros, speared by a volley of Joffrey’s arrows to accompany the quote ‘Chaos isn’t a pit, chaos is a ladder’.“ (Robert Ball) 1.He watches the scene over and over until he pictures the design. 2. He then gets rid of unecessary objects and changes the pictures agles to read more comfortably. he then adds accents to the image. 3.He then brightens what he thinks are dull colors and exports as a jpeg and opens it in a drawing program called MS (Manga Studio 5). He then fills in holes and adds finer detail to the image. 4. He then takes ink splots that he has scanned, he then cuts and repositions the pieces like a collage until they fit properly. 5.He then takes it into Id (InDesign) and adds the Border, and logo/phrase from that is from the scene.

Bill Sienkiewicz is a Eisnerwinning, Emmy-nominated, Graphic Designer/Illustrator. He is mostly known for refurbishing the style for comics and graphic novel illustrations, starting 1980 to present. He designed graphically trail-blazing movie promotional art for The Grinch, The Dark Knight, Unforgiven and the popular video game Resident Evil. His work has been displayed at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro; galleries in Paris, Barcelona and Tuscany; Spain’s Highly Recognized La Semana Negra (The Black Week) Festival; advertising campaigns for MTV, Nike and Nissan; posters for The Green Mile, 2006 Winter Olympics; and magazines such as Spin and Entertainment Weekly. He has worked with Marvel, Warner Bros and DC Comics. In 2010 he worked on a small animated webisode series entitled “Dexter Early Cuts Dark Echo” where he took the loved character from Showtime’s Dexter Morgan and brings the fans back to 1994 in Dexter’s past where he is faced by a annoying copy-cat killer who doesn’t follow any of the codes that were instilled in dexter by his late father Harry Morgan. This mini series of work also helps the fan see how Dexter molded his craft and became the killer of serial killers they know him to be. In the pictures that bill has created you see the rough yet detailed story play out, though there are no words to tell you how the main is feeling you see the emotions he’s facing be it happiness, saddness, boredom or anger. These emotions are potrayed by coloring, shading and highlighting that bill does across each pictures face.

The concept art for The Last Of Us, was by far some of the most breathtaking images to hit the gaming industry. Naugty Dog the creators of the game have deffinately pushed to create the best playable and beautiful game for 2013. The game is set 20 years after a infection hits the world and you playing as one of the main protagonist Joel must face this stunning but deadly world, where nature has reclaimed the streets and wildlife and other creatures roam free with no bounderies. you can stare at these images for hours and find new things to look at each time,
The beauty that is in the Landscapes is hauntingly beautiful. It makes you realize that the little details can make a big difference in a concept even though all might not make it to the end. Naughty Dog indeed delivers on giving the community a new look at a apocolyptic world, Instead of the ugle and dying world that most games potray during the apocolyptic genre. How the light catches the rubble of once towering buildings is almost life like in apperence. Naughty Dog has set a new bar for the Apocolypse genre that players now expect from the genre.

In 2012 TellTale teamed up with Robert Kirkman to bring the avid video gamer into the world of The Walking Dead. To show the fans what was instore TellTale released a series of concept art, even though it wasn’t alot it peaked peoples interest. The comic style that the fans fell in love with at the beginning of the series and the new 3D style that Telltale was bringing to the table was enough to get supporters of the game. If you look at the Image on your right you will see one of the a little girl who looks like the typical 9 yearold. The white dress suggests she is in the peak of her inocence, she almost seems to have a air of maturity to how she looks which seems like that is what Telltale and Robert Kirkman want you to have. Clementine (The girl in the picture) is the games inocence, take that and add a apocolyptic world and her clothes start to get dirty she starts to get stronger and the innocence is like the world is being tarnished by the horrors that lurke around every corner. The picture depicts her purest form which is what The Walking Dead franchise is all about. It’s not about the Walkers, It’s about the people and what they will do to survive

The Reboot of the ever popular Lara Croft was taken with excitment from the fans of past games as concept image after concept image rolled out. Usually the overexagerated Lara is to be no more, A new (Acurately Human) Lara lost her pixelated boobs and stepped into the real world showing off her average looking bust size and waist. The images given to the fans are ones of a brilliant and almost real looking island landscape that is sure to be the beginning to an epic life of tomb raiding. The games graphics alone blew away competition and made people want to throw their money at their screens to get their hands on the new game. The way the clothes fall, the light bounces off of objects and the detail put into the works of art are nothing but amazing. Lara Croft is dressed somewhat accurately for the weather potrayed in the pictures. The images that catch your eye literally pull you into another world and make you forget that this is infact a video game and not a island that you would want to vacation on. Tomb Raider is seeing a new look that is sure to get her and the team behind her more fans and admires.

Tim Burtons Creatures have made us happy, sad, scared, mistified and kept us in a childlike state for years. If you don’t know who Tim Burton is then you might want to take a look at the photo’s that surround this page, He is the weirdest yet brilliant man that paved the way for animation, stop motion and film. He is most known for his bizarre drawings and odd movies. His art is that of someone you might think has lost his mind until you look closer and realize that only a insane genius can come up with such things. When we were children we might have once been afraid to watch the dark and twisted things that have come out of his mind but as we have aged we have grown to love his sense of cool and unique looking creations. He is one of the reasons most kids aspire to be artists his work is imaginitive and paves the way for future weirdo’s and misfits to follow their dreams and do what they love.

Walt Disney, A name known by everyone. He was the pioneer for the animated world, creating the first full feature length movie that was all drawn by hand (Snow White in 1937). From there became a houshold name and eventually being loved worldwide from children and of course those of us who are still children at heart. Some of the picture depict Walt with his famouse partner Mickey Mouse. One of the pictures even shows Mickey at the early stages of his life as but a crude drawing on a notepad paper (Bottom Left) and A later micky shown in the cartoon that made him famous, Steam Boat Willie (Bottom Right) Though Walt is no longer with us his childlike imagination lives on and wows kids even today.

Matt Groening is the creator of the beloved Simpsons family that have been around longer than most non-animated telvision show. The simpsons is so simple yet very unique it features a cast of over 200 characters, and also has the most diverse characters on tv (Even though most are yellow) The designs of each character are all so unique that you can pretty much name almost all because of how diverse they look unlike most Animated shows The Simpsons are all shaped from a different mold. The first episode was in 1989 and is now on its 25th
season. It is the longest American sitcom on tv currently, and even has it’s own movie. The Simpsons is not only a animated series, they have done stop-motion episodes and are also currently working on a lego stop-motion episode. the picture below is the hint that FOX gave it’s fans.

The T-shirt Design depicted (To the right) was thought out to be a minimalist work of art that depics the loss of a loved one. the words used on the shirt are (From Right to left) “Broken, Loved, and Strong” The tree symbolizes the mans family, A support system that will be there for him no matter what. The gravestone represents the lost loved one and shows the mans feeling towards the object. The man’s heart is Broken because of the deceased Loved one. The rest of the pictures on this page are simple acts of boredom. Creativity sparks at the weirdest of times.
I chose the word “Insanity” because evevrything that was once ever thought up, Someone somewhere out there thought it was Insane and what I have come to learn is with insanity comes unique and genius opportunities. Page 31
