Gateway to the Columbia Gorge and Mt. Hood The Edgefield Station concept plan envisioned 64 acres of mixed commercial, retail, entertainment and residential uses with a major public attractor. The underlying goal was to provide a gateway to the Columbia Gorge and Mt. Hood recreation areas that would create a convenient way for visitors to use a variety of mass transit systems to access desired destinations in the gorge and on the mountain.
