Erasmo Cantu

I’m currently the Senior Land Acquisition & Development financial analyst for KB Home, one of the largest homebuilders in the US. I obtained both my undergraduate in Urban Economics & my Master’s in Urban Planning from the University of Texas at Austin. I also have a Real Estate Development Certificate from the McCombs School of Business. I’ve spent the past 7+ years working across different areas of urbanism: policy and zoning, urban design/architecture, economic development, land-use planning, community engagement, to my current role acquiring land for residential development. I love cities and their complexities. I believe my life’s mission is to work in understanding the multi-faceted systems that make cities, while developing equitable solutions to their most pressing issues. Throughout my 7 year career, I have worked on approximately 30 urbanism projects globally. I am constantly seeking to gain new experiences and new opportunities in the field.
