Life just got sweeter in Sweet, Idaho! Or should we say life just got a lot more savory with the opening of Anderson Reserve— Sweet’s new combined butchery and market.

The Anderson family has a long history in the meat industry, beginning in the early 1940s with Paul Anderson Senior. Before Paul Anderson Senior had even graduated high school, he had started working for a meat company in Colorado. And by the ‘70s, was able to start his own company with his three sons: the Anderson Boneless Beef Co.

After the passing of Paul Senior, the business was given to his three sons, who each went their separate ways. But Paul Anderson, grandson of Paul Anderson Sr., had a different idea in mind. He took the combined knowledge he had inherited and opened Anderson Reserve—a fivestar steak house promising quality, satisfaction, and an experience that turns customers into friends.

“Joining us at Anderson Reserve is more than just coming out for a meal, it’s an experience,” said owner, Paul Anderson. “From the start of your journey, it is a beautiful drive along the Payette River to a small quiet town. To the setting of a restaurant that’s inside of a beautiful rustic elegant barn. Every steak, lamb chop, chicken breast, pork chop, etc. you could possibly order has been hand cut by a member of the Anderson family.”

Their menu is filled with mouth-watering entrees like the Skirt Steak Sandwich for lunch or a Prime Dry Aged New York for dinner. Combined with a hearty drink menu (featuring their newly acquired liquor license!) and tantalizing appetizers like the Brulee’d Burrata, Anderson Reserve is a must-visit for anyone in the Treasure Valley.
