Cazenovia artist wins magazine competition

Daniels has been selected as the winner in PleinAir Magazine’s January Competition in the Building Category with his painting titled, “Winter Evening, Lincklaen Street.”

The judge for the January competition was American Master Artist C.W. Mundy.

Daniels, along with the other 22 winners, is now entered into the Annual PleinAir Salon competition being awarded in May 2023 at the Plein Air Convention & Expo.

These artists will compete for a $15,000 cash grand prize, and for their painting to be featured on the cover of

PleinAir Magazine. All of the January monthly winners will be included in a showcase in the Apr/May issue of PleinAir Magazine.

The PleinAir Salon is a national online art competition hosted by PleinAir Magazine, offering over $33,000 in all cash prizes, plus recognition through feature articles and showcases in newsletters such as Plein Air Today, Fine Art Today, INSIDEART, and others.
