The Autobot Code "The Autobot Code is more than just a ten-thousand-page military manual. It's a comprehensive system of morality. A framework for living that addresses all aspects of the Cybertronian condition. It's a treatise on aspirational behavior that shows to the rest of the galaxy that maybe—we can transcend our troubled past and become beacons of liberty and enlightenment."

Approving Signatories Developed via committee of the highest ranking Autobots and revised continually as required; Final responsibility for the contents of the Code rests with the highest ranking signatory at each period of re-issue and re-approval. Most commonly this is the current Prime, but can involve other legal signatories, such as those deemed to hold sufficient authority in relation to Autobot Command or other individuals or bodies of power in the absence of the Prime.

Core Tenants
The Autobot faction is named for the central belief that all sentient beings, Cybertronian or otherwise, have inherent rights as autonomous lifeforms. Subsequently, all Autobots carry the inherent responsibility of ensuring as much as possible that those rights remain respected and defended. The Autobot Code is deigned to allow for this objective to be met, by outlining these rights and responsibilities.
2
Objective
3
To ensure a faction-wide formal code of conduct, ethics, and legal structure with which to align individuals under a commonly accepted and understood law.
4
Structure
The Autobot Code expands upon prior legal and social frameworks, including those of non-Cybertronian origin such as Intergalactic Law and the Interplanetary Code of Warfare, to ensure a basic set of rights and acceptable behaviours.
Personal Obligations Upon formally affirming an individual understanding of and agreement with the Autobot Code, anyone who professes personal alignment with the Autobot faction is then bound by their stated understanding and agreement of the Code to hold themselves to the standards as outlined within. At this time of formal affirmation, an Autobot Insignia may then be worn on the armour if appropriate or necessary.
5
Enforcement There are several tiers of enforcement, depending on the severity and nature of the violation of any guidelines as established within the Autobot Code. Every Autobot has a right to fair assessment and the review of evidence where available. If warranted by a given situation, multiple tiers of enforcement may be involved to ensure a thorough investigation is carried out. All Autobots hold the right to legal counsel and defence when appropriate. Re-evaluation may be sought by escalating a case to the next highest tier of enforcement.

While the war has come to an end, certain tenants of the Autobot Code have been integrated into wider Cybertronian planetary law. While it is a good idea to familiarise yourself with the Autobot Code as per the last issued edition prior to the end of factional warfare for historical context, there is nothing prohibiting any Cybertronian citizen from using the Autobot Code as a moral and ethical guide.
