Snowflake
The Snowflake is a great free play element that children can enjoy making up games on. You will need small tyres along with 3� bolts and budget paint. There is no need for cement as you can compact the earth to form the foundation around the tyres. Make sure you have at least 1.5 metres of space around the snow flake.

Cut both side walls from 10 car tyres. Cut through the middle of the car tyres. Cut a section out of the car tyres. Grind the edges to smooth where the wire is showing. Bolt the ends of the strip onto two tyres with three bolts on each tyre. Dig holes to bury the bottom half of the tyres. Place tyres in holes, fill and compact with soil. Paint.
Colour Scheme Paint the tyres yellow or orange. Paint the treads green.
