The standard Swing Seats are designed to be safe and durable. All you need is small tyre, flat bar, solid bar, 3” bolts, metal and budget paint.

How to build 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.

Using the utility knife, carefully cut the sidewalls from the small tyre. Carefully out a 500-550 mm / 20-22” section of the tyre. Grind away any sharp pieces of metal that are on the cut edges. Cut 6 pieces of flat bar to the dimensions given in the diagram Drill four holes in the tyre, spaced 15 mm / ½” from each end of the tyre. Place the flat bar on the tyre as shown and connect using four bolts, with the head of the bolt on top of the seat. 7. Bend the metal bar to make a U shape.. 8. Weld the ends of the bar to the four bolt heads 9. Paint.

Colour Scheme Paint the seat one colour. Paint the metal loops one colour.

The colours must match the swings: The uprights are blue and the seats are blue The crossbars are yellow, the metal loops are yellow

OR The uprights are green and the metal loops are green The crossbars are purple and the seats are purple
